ROG Gladius IV Ace coming Q4 2026

ASUS ROG has officially launched the ROG Gladius IV Ace, a next-generation esports mouse engineered for competitive gamers who demand precision, endurance, and tournament-grade responsiveness. Developed through rigorous sports-science research and iterative feedback from professional esports athletes, the Gladius IV Ace redefines ergonomic performance while delivering microsecond-level tracking and wireless reliability.

Designed to minimize muscle strain during intense grip, lift, and movement cycles, the Gladius IV Ace’s refined silhouette is the result of extensive biomechanical testing. Performance evaluations revealed that even during prolonged high-intensity sessions, the mouse maintains consistent velocity and acceleration tracking while significantly reducing off-target deviations. In demanding 180-degree flick scenarios, testers demonstrated markedly improved hit accuracy, proving the design’s ability to sustain peak performance when physical fatigue sets in. These insights will also inform ROG’s future Ace series, with tailored form factors planned for diverse grip styles, hand sizes, and movement preferences.

Weighing just 56 grams out of the box, the Gladius IV Ace features a center-balanced chassis optimized for swift directional changes. Players can further personalize handling with included 3g, 5g, and 7g stackable weights, enabling seven additional configurations to match individual playstyles. Every unit undergoes rigorous machine testing to ensure left- and right-click actuation consistency within a 5gf tolerance, guaranteeing a uniform, reliable feel match after match.

At the heart of the Gladius IV Ace lies ROG’s SpeedNova 8K Gen II wireless technology, paired with an enhanced receiver featuring a high-gain antenna for superior signal integrity. The system continuously monitors surrounding RF conditions and automatically hops to optimal channels via Active Dynamic Hopping to eliminate interference. Real-time connection status is displayed through customizable dual LEDs, accessible via ROG Gear Link. Tracking is powered by the ROG AimPoint Pro 65K optical sensor, which delivers up to 65,000 DPI, 800 IPS, and 70g of maximum acceleration. With 20,000 frames-per-second scanning and an 8,000Hz polling rate, the sensor captures every micro-movement instantly. Competitive players can also leverage Zone Mode for hardware-optimized settings and Dynamic TX Power Control for maximum transmission strength and interference resistance.

Tournament-ready out of the box, the Gladius IV Ace ships with a dedicated protective carry case to safely transport the mouse and accessories for LANs, bootcamps, and travel. Setup is streamlined through ROG Gear Link, a browser-based configuration tool that requires no software downloads. Gamers can quickly adjust DPI, polling rates, lighting, and button mappings across practice stations, tournament PCs, and shared systems—ensuring a seamless transition from practice to competition.
